New Dental Patient Information Southampton

An Easy Way to Get Started

Welcome to Philadelphia Tongue and Lip-Tie Center! Dr. Singh and our team are ready to welcome new patients and are here to offer fast, effective treatment that will improve oral and overall health for years to come. We recognize that procedures involving the mouth can be worrisome for many; however, we are committed to creating a comfortable and safe environment as well as producing long-lasting results. But before you arrive for your initial visit, we encourage you to review the following information and call us if you have any questions.

Your Child’s First Visit

When arriving, you will check in at the front desk before being escorted to our consultation room. There, Dr. Singh will listen as you explain the issues you are having as well as answer any questions or concerns you might have. Then, a comprehensive examination is performed. You will lean back to have your lip, cheek, tongue, and palate reviewed as well as a basic assessment of your head and neck. If we feel that you will benefit from treatment, we will show you a video of the stretches that are required after the procedure as well as additional aftercare information. This will help to eliminate any surprises.

The treatment is then performed in under two minutes before you and your child will be reunited. You will be encouraged to try the stretches out on your child while in our office. If your infant undergoes treatment, you will be able to feed/nurse them to help them calm down. Should you have any questions, we will answer them before you leave to go home.

Dental Patient Forms

We want to make sure that we have all the necessary information required for treatment, so you’ll be asked to fill out new patient paperwork. It’s important that we have your updated insurance as well so that we can insert it into our system. This will allow for greater efficiency on the day of your appointment and during check-out.

Dental Insurance

We are pleased to be in-network with many insurance companies and will do our best to help maximize your available benefits. When inquiring about the cost, you can expect that our team will review your policy and file any necessary claims so that you don’t have to. Also, you can expect us to discuss alternative ways to pay should you need additional assistance.

CareCredit Financing

One method many patients use who are uninsured is CareCredit Financing. Offering low and no-interest payment plans and no surprise fees, you can enroll easily and pay off the full cost of your treatment at the start. This allows you to then make manageable installments on your CareCredit card to pay down the total amount.
